For this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Avant Garde Technologies B.V. include Chip. The app is a comprehensive digital payment solution. By using Chip, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
Collection of your Personal & Sensitive Information
To better provide you with products and services offered on our Site, Chip may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:

- User Contact information

- Government-issued photo identification document

Use of your Personal Information
Chip collects and uses your personal information such as but not limited to phone number, user First name & Last name, E-mail address, Birthday, ID number, card, and Bank information to operate its platform(s) and deliver the services you have requested. All user’s information will be securely saved and protected in the back-end administrative dashboard.
Chip accesses contacts to connect users with their friends and family if they are already members of our platform.
The user’s address is collected only when they request to generate a virtual Mastercard or when performing remittance transactions. Identification cards are collected during the sign-up process as part of our KYC (Know Your Customer) policy to verify identity and ensure compliance with local AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism) guidelines.
Chip may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Chip and its affiliates.
Sharing Information with Third Parties
Any Personal Data that CHIP has access to shall never be shared without your consent. In various processes/submission of applications/availability of product/service offerings, we even seek your explicit consent to use/share your Personal Data. Chip does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists to third parties.
Chip may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you emails, and provide customer support. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Chip, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
In CHIP business and operational processes, we only share the data on a partial and “need-to-know” basis with designated personnel or partners or service providers.
We will share your data with competent/ legal/statutory/regulatory agencies/authorities or partners/service providers acting on our behalf (as the case may be) in the following cases:

We may provide your personal information to our affiliates or other trusted businesses or persons or service providers engaged by us, or institutions that we partner with to assist us with providing you with products/services to better serve your needs and interests, based on your instructions and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain the quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding the use of Chip.

We store your data exclusively on servers provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS), a trusted third-party hosting provider with whom we have contracted.

Chip reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our app, and/or by updating any privacy information on this page. Your continued use of the app and/or Services available through this app after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide by and be bound by that Policy.
